How Can You Get Through The CSA GP Exam?

The clinical skills assessment exam is one of the three important parts of the MRCP CP qualification, which is essential to complete the GP training in the UK. This test is designed to assess the different aspects of the general practice with the formation of the clinical stations. The different areas that get tested it the CSA GP Exam include communication skills, patient-centered approach, and evidence-based practice.

The exam lasts for nearly 3 hours and it has 13 aspects of clinical OSCE.  The examinees also get as a break of 15 minutes after 7 cases.

You can take the CSE from the 3rd year onwards and you can it for the CSA exam from October to May on a monthly basis. The exam takes place in the CSGP building in London and you get a maximum of 4 attempts to clear the exam. For example, instead of asking “May, I know if you smoke?” It is better to link the condition with smoking, for instance, smoking aggravates indigestion; do you smoke by any chance?

If you bring the condition or the symptoms and link it in your question for gathering data, it is going to fetches more credit.

You Need To Remember The Medicines

The CSA exam is not just about your language and how nice you can be, it is mainly about assessing your clinical skills. Your overall score will be based on how nicely you can demonstrate your ability to help patients with your knowledge and clinical skills. Therefore, you do not have to also focus on your knowledge of medicines and your basic study, medicinal judgment, and abilities. You have to showcase all that you have been learning in the past 10 years of your training.
