CSA or Clinical assessment exams are an assessment test of doctors to know their potentiality in incorporating all the skills in the general practice. Usually, clinical, professional, practical, and speaking skills must be integrated, during practicing. MRCGP is a PG course in the UK in the medical field. CSA is part of the MRCGP, which needs to be undergone, to complete the GP training in the UK. The CSA Exam is conducted, to test the practical skills of the trainee doctors in an objective structured way. The exams are booked through the RCGP website. There are four exam attempts allowed. The CSA consist of 13 stations, clinical OSCE (objective structured clinical examination), which means 13 tasks of 10 minutes. The total time taken by CSA exam is 3 hours, with 15 minutes break after seven short cases. Candidates are allotted their separate room to conduct their tasks.
